What Lexie Does...

Being a stay at home mom is the best job I have ever had. I get to spend time with this little honey and she makes me laugh everyday just by being the curious little girl that she is.
In pictures, here's the update of what she's been up too this month....

I got another calling in our ward and you'll be surprised what it is- choir pianist. ;) SO, I practice the piano- and Lexie plays right along side of me. She'll be quite the musician when she grows up- naturally. :D
Lexie lou hanging out at Daddy's soccer game. Shane joined a "Mexican League" that plays every saturday and is glad to be back on the soccer field and we're happy to watch him.
Lexie was "helping" me organize and create new bows for her head.
This is what happens when I leave the room for a minute.
New hiding place discovered
"In my own little corner... " (Shane took this great picture)
"... in my own little chair...."
(Shane emptied her toy bucket and put her inside. She actually liked this seat for a bit.)
"I can be whatever I want to be..." a chef.
I have a kitchen drawer of cooking stuff that I use, that is also baby safe.
Lexie loves helping me cook with her stuff. She has excellent stirring skills when she concentrates hard with her tongue hanging out.

With Thanksgiving around the corner it seems appropriate I share a few things I'm thankful for at the close of this blog post:
Oh how grateful I am to have a camera to capture all the darling things Lexie does when I'm with her. How thankful I am to have a computer to write this up, and internet to share and communicate with those far and wide from here. How thankful I am to be a stay at home mom, and have a husband that sees the importance of our children being raised by their mother and not his parents or mine. How thankful I am for his job that allows me to be a stay at home mother. I have the best, hardest, but most rewarding job of all. How grateful I am to be me and to have this darling little family and wonderful extended family apart of my life. I have been spoiled with love and I'm so thankful!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!
Travel safe, until we meet again!
