Although the graduation was LITERALLY HOURS long- (started at 2, walked out of the ceremony at 5:30 and yes it was horrible to sit through all of this mumbo-humbo graduation stuff especially with a bunch of little kids and the AC freezing us to death.... ugh. I was happy to be at Graduation for the first two hours because President Monson was there. It's funny- the moment he got up to speak, the flashes from cameras were nuts! I don't know how he was able to speak with such pose when the flashes did not cease- wow!

President Monson's talk was wonderful focusing on the Bridges of a happy life. Cliff note version:
1.) Attitude: man alters his life and others by altering his attitude.
2.)Integrity: swimming against the current of modern fads is a good thing.
3.) Service: sucess is measure by the people that you serve.
Wonderfully delievered talk. President Monson was darling waving at the audience and joking around with the President of Dixie. It was an honor to hear him speak and I'm thankful I could have been there. More to pictures and stories of this weekend to come later!
hmm...I would've thought there wouldn't be cameras allowed, but I forgot it was a graduation not a talk. I bet that was weird. I wonder what nonmembers that were graduating thought-hopefully that he was GREAT. Because God is great and that's His messenger. I'm glad to hear that you survived it, though :) I like our little blog chats too! It's fun!
