August Picture overload

August was EXTREMLY busy for us!
Soooo here we go with the picture overload... In one day, Lexie and I went swimming with Aunt Heather and Uncle Ken at their friend's pool...

with cousin Austin and my sister Savannah.... then we drove all the way out to bountiful for Jesi's baby shower with the Dewey side.

I forgot to mention- Lexie played shoes with her favorite Aunt Brooklyn and...

played in the pool.

Then that evening we threw a surpise birthday party for Thomas!

Then on Sunday Whitney and Tyler blessed their little man- Maddox- phew what a weekend!So for FHE we had a little TLC and did Pedicures.

Neighbor friend, Paisley came over for popsicles the night before we took off to go camping.

Going camping in Torrey is a family tradiaiton so before heading up Boulder mountain for the week, we had lunch. Lexie had smile-fries.

We spent the week playing with cousin Kiera,

Harley in their little tent.

Shane and I went repelling down a waterfall.

Luckily no one was injured coming down the slippery slope, except me. :( The second time down the waterfall I slipped, knees hit the rock and my hand got caught under the rope with all my body weight pinning it against the rock while I swallowed buckets of waterfall . I made it down but didn't go down again.

The day back from our trip we went to the back-to -school fair. Lexie enjoyed running amuck through the blow-up toys.

And lastly, we started potty training. Lexie wanted to potty train in July, but I didn't want to start potty training until we got back from camping. Since the end of the month Lexie's been a big girl and has very few accidents! Yahoo!

And so, our August has been out-of-control-busy, but we enjoyed the trips. Now onto September- this month will be busy with job hunting (on Shane's end) perfecting potty skills(Lexie- thankfully!) and editing (Me). Did I tell you I signed up for a screenwriting class??? I'm thrilled to finish my novel this week, sent it off to the agen AND THEN take a class from the agent learning how to write screen plays. So I can double dip on the novel and movie making process. Awesome!! Okay, seriously- good bye for now!
